PLC & SCADA & DCS

PCS produces complete solutions with PLC&SCADA and DCS for automation systems. For not-too-complicated applications S7-200 S7-300 series PLCs are used.
When process requires, more comlicated models like S7-300 or S7-400 can be used. Redundant systems is used to provide continuity whenever the process requires it. In such systems, highest quality high filed performance materials are used.

SCADA:

SCADA is acronym for Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition. They are a class of software for controlling processes and data acqusition and for providing a meaningful user interface.

SCADA provides high level of control and observation capabilities.



  • Observation of the process via user defined parameter set (temperature, pressure, level, digital signals etc.),
  • By parameter screens, supplying information about selected parameters,
  • By parameter screens, setting limit values,
  • Entering and observing P,I,D parameters,
  • Logging of selected parameters,
  • System intervention by SCADA screens,
  • Saving alarms and faults into databases
  • Ability to be upgraded and integrated.
Communication:

SCADA Systems can use several standard of communication based on complexity, security and speed. User interface is completely transparent to the use communication standard.

For field and cell network application Ethernet is the universal standard (IEEE 802.3 and 802.3u). Transfer speed is 10 Mbit/s - 100 Mbit/s.



Profibus (IEC 61158 /EN 50170) is used in automation systems, HMI, and management systems. Transfer speed is 9.6 Kbit/s - 12 Mbit/s. Network can have 127 connection point at most. With normal cable maximum length can be 9.6 km. with fiber cables 90 km.
